Civil BIM Modeler – Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil BIM Modeler specialized in roads and infrastructure to join our Digital Delivery team on the Qiddiya Public Realm & Infrastructure project in Riyadh. The role involves creating, coordinating and delivering detailed Autodesk Civil 3D models from design through to LOD 500 As‑Built and asset handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, corridors and super‑elevation for roadways, medians, footpaths, cycle tracks and parking areas.
• Model gravity and pressure utility networks, including storm‑water, sewer, potable water, irrigation and fire‑water systems, and ensure proper connectivity and clearances.
• Create and maintain Civil 3D content catalogs and custom parts using Content Catalog Editor and Part Builder, embedding asset codes and classifications.
• Design and automate Dynamo workflows (including Python nodes) for property set population, quantity take‑offs, model health checks and automated labeling.
• Perform BIM QA/QC, manage data shortcuts, support IFC 4.x exports, and prepare federated models for clash detection in Navisworks and Revizto.
• Publish models through Autodesk Construction Cloud/Aconex and mentor junior modelers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Civil BIM Modeler/Civil 3D specialist, with at least 3 years on road/highway infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering road corridors, underground utilities, and creating/customising Civil 3D content catalogs.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic and a valid KSA driving licence are desirable.

Required skills

• Expert level Autodesk Civil 3D (alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, surfaces).
• Advanced Dynamo for Civil 3D, including Python/CPython3 nodes.
• Content Catalog Editor and Part Builder for custom pipe and structure parts.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks, Revizto, ACC/Aconex, and IFC 4.x.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650, BEP, LOIN and LOD 500 As‑Built processes.
