Civil Engineer – Site Supervision & Design

About the role

Dar Al Dawa Development & Investment Co is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join its Riyadh team. The role involves preparing and reviewing civil and structural drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring that all works meet the Saudi Building Code and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil and structural drawings, plans, layouts and technical specifications.
• Coordinate civil and structural requirements with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Review shop drawings, material specifications, method statements and contractor submissions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor quality, progress and compliance.
• Ensure civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements and the Saudi Building Code.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality requirements and scope.
• Review quantities, BOQs and quantity take‑offs and support technical evaluation of contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, drawings, quantity records and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in civil engineering, construction, site supervision or project execution.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers and Saudi nationality.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related civil engineering software.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit or BIM platforms.
• Experience with civil and structural drawings, quantity take‑offs and BOQs.
• Understanding of construction materials, quality control and safety requirements.
