Civil Site Supervisor

About the role

Supervise daily construction activities on‑site, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely and in strict compliance with approved project plans and specifications. The role reports to the Project Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers and inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily construction tasks, work schedules and assignments for workers and foremen.
• Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections and report hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor work quality, ensure adherence to project specifications and promptly address any quality issues.
• Oversee procurement, storage and efficient use of materials and equipment on‑site.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and communicate resource needs.
• Identify and resolve operational problems, collaborating with project managers and team members to find solutions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is preferred, with 3–5 years of construction supervision experience.
• OSHA certification or relevant safety training.

Required skills

• Construction management software proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
