Cloud DevOps Expert

About the role

The Cloud DevOps Expert will design, build, and manage automation frameworks across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will create Infrastructure‑as‑Code modules, automate CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules for OCI and GCP.
• Integrate Terraform automation with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, OCI DevOps, and Cloud Build.
• Apply Policy‑as‑Code frameworks (OPA, Sentinel) and governance guardrails.
• Build and operate multi‑cloud workloads, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and load balancers.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms (OKE and GKE), including cluster deployment and automation.
• Implement secure provisioning, multi‑region architecture, disaster‑recovery, and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for both application and infrastructure deployments, including automated testing, linting, plan validation, and security scanning.
• Apply IAM best practices, KMS/CMEK encryption, audit logging, network segmentation, and secrets management.
• Configure monitoring dashboards, alerts, and logging; support incident response and performance tuning.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of DevOps experience, with at least 5 years on OCI and GCP.
• Professional certifications preferred (Terraform Associate, OCI Architect, OCI DevOps, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Architect).
