Cluster Chief Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Cluster Chief Accountant to join our organization in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this leadership position you will oversee accounting operations across multiple hotel locations, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounting operations across all sites within the cluster, ensuring consistency with organizational policies.
• Supervise, mentor and develop accounting teams, fostering professional growth and accountability.
• Prepare, review and validate financial statements and reports in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia’s accounting regulations, tax requirements and Zakat obligations.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to strengthen controls and mitigate risks.
• Manage the accounting department budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and inspections.
• Implement process improvements and leverage technology to increase accounting accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and SOCBA certification.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and Saudi accounting, tax and Zakat regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams and manage multi‑location operations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
