Cluster Chief Accountant

About the role

Accor Plus is seeking an experienced Cluster Chief Accountant to lead accounting operations across its Makkah cluster. The role combines financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to ensure accurate reporting and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities across multiple locations, ensuring consistency with corporate policies.
• Supervise, mentor and develop accounting teams, fostering professional growth.
• Prepare, review and validate financial statements in line with GAAP, IFRS and Saudi regulations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, audit procedures and risk‑management frameworks.
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; SOCBA certification.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting regulations, tax laws and Zakat compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑location accounting operations and financial consolidation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
