CNC Operator

About the role

Flowserve is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and run a variety of machine tools that produce precision parts and instruments. The role involves fabricating, modifying, and repairing components while applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and metal properties.

Key responsibilities

• Operate basic and CNC equipment, including manual lathes, milling machines, and CNC lathes/mills.
• Carry out operational tasks following established processes and procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, repairs, and preparations.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental instructions to protect personnel and the workplace.
• Ensure work complies with quality standards and regulatory codes.
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and technical drawings.
• Communicate courteously with team members and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Clear verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with guidance.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
• High school diploma/GED with 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
