Collections Officer – Jeddah

About the role

The Collections Officer is responsible for following up with customers to ensure timely collection of dues, applying company policies and using the designated AR system. The role manages a specific portfolio, meets monthly targets, and monitors risks and reversals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management information and insights on portfolio performance for decision‑making.
• Communicate with customers via calls, emails and visits to follow up overdue accounts.
• Reconcile accounts, understand disputes and coordinate internal stakeholders for resolution.
• Update the AR system with actions taken for each customer interaction.
• Submit invoices with required supporting documentation.
• Send dunning letters in line with the company’s credit policy.
• Prepare regular Excel reports for the assigned portfolio.
• Organise follow‑up activities to achieve targets and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of collections experience handling a portfolio of at least 200 customers, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
