Commercial Manager – NEOM Project

About the role

Jacobs is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to provide contractual leadership for a major programme at NEOM, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing the close‑out of work orders, service orders and standalone contracts, ensuring all commercial obligations are met and documented.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a prioritized close‑out plan and tracker for all contracts, capturing status, dependencies and target dates.
• Review contracts against scope, commercial terms and deliverables to identify evidence gaps.
• Verify completion and acceptance of services with project and technical teams, securing handover records.
• Reconcile awarded values, changes, invoices and payments across Unifier and SAP, escalating discrepancies.
• Lead final account agreement, addressing variations, claims, disputed amounts and other commercial matters.
• Develop cost estimates for rectifying NCRs, defects and incomplete works, ensuring appropriate deductions.
• Confirm delivery of final reports, warranties, manuals and as‑built information.
• Coordinate release of securities, guarantees and retentions upon contract satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial management within large construction or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of contract close‑out processes and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project, technical and finance teams.
