Commis 3 – Kitchen (Jabal Omar)

About the role

The Jumeirah Jabal Omar hotel is seeking a Commis 3 to support its busy kitchen operations. Working onsite, you will assist in preparing a diverse range of dishes that reflect Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisines, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix and prepare meal ingredients, sauces and seasonings.
• Wash, peel and chop vegetables, fruits and meats as required.
• Cut, season and marinate various meats according to established guidelines.
• Prepare salads, sauces and plated dishes with precise presentation.
• Follow recipe and plating guides to exact specifications.
• Maintain proper stock levels in refrigerators and freezers.
• Document inventory of kitchen supplies and alert supervisors to low stock.
