Commissioning Machinery Supervisor (HVAC)

About the role

A Commissioning Machinery Supervisor (HVAC) is needed for the AMIRAL P02&03 project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role covers functional loop checks and interlock/sequence checks in line with quality, health, environmental and safety regulations and stated procedures. It is a fixed-term position from 1 January 2027 to 29 February 2028, with a 60-day on-site rotation followed by 10 paid days off and 2 paid travel days.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed commissioning procedures for machinery and packages and for functional tests.
• Check and prepare the commissioning punch list and supervise its closure.
• Monitor that activities follow procedures and requirements.
• Supervise vendor specialists, support them in their work and coordinate with other commissioning supervisors.
• Keep activity records in the logbook.
• Produce signed certificates and hand them over to the certification engineer (QA/QC).

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent diploma in engineering.
• Five years of relevant field experience, including on the contractor side.
• Relevant experience in construction, modernization of oil and gas or industrial EPC projects such as large refinery plants, and in similar roles on at least the last three projects of comparable size.
• Extensive experience in HVAC commissioning.
