Communications Specialist – Social, Healthcare & Public Entities

About the role

As a Communications Specialist within the Social, Healthcare & Public Entities (SHaPE) practice, you will design and execute creative communication plans that raise awareness of McKinsey’s capabilities and knowledge. You will work closely with senior communications colleagues and a global network of stakeholders to shape how the firm connects with clients, alumni, and internal audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies, campaigns, and tactics for priority markets worldwide.
• Produce and manage media content across earned, owned, and paid channels, including events and publications.
• Protect and enhance McKinsey’s reputation by delivering clear, impactful messaging on public‑sector and adjacent topics.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure insights reach the right audiences.
• Support the firm’s Reach and Engagement function by creating tailored communications that drive client activation and funnel building.
