Community Engagement Manager

About the role

JLL is looking for an experienced Community Engagement Manager to lead activation and engagement initiatives for a premier mixed‑use compound in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role involves creating a vibrant community experience across residential, retail and amenity spaces, driving resident satisfaction and usage of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual community engagement strategy aligned with compound objectives and resident demographics.
• Design a year‑round programming calendar that includes seasonal celebrations, cultural festivals, family activities, wellness initiatives and educational workshops.
• Create targeted programs for families, young professionals, seniors, expatriates and Saudi nationals.
• Establish KPIs, track participation rates and report quarterly outcomes and ROI to senior management.
• Oversee planning and execution of all compound‑wide events, ensuring cultural appropriateness and safety protocols.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, vendors, artists and performers; negotiate partnerships and sponsorships.
• Serve as primary liaison between residents, property management and external partners.
• Lead, mentor and manage the community engagement team, set performance objectives and conduct reviews.
• Manage the annual engagement budget, monitor financial performance and prepare forecasts and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to promote programs and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in community and events management, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale mixed‑use compounds in Saudi Arabia or the region.
• Demonstrated track record designing and delivering large‑scale community programs.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to engage diverse resident groups.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
