Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will lead and support the organization’s compliance activities, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and governance requirements. This role maintains an effective compliance framework, monitors regulatory obligations, mitigates risks, and fosters a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the company’s compliance framework, policies, procedures, and monitoring programs.
• Identify, track, and maintain a register of applicable laws, regulations, licenses, permits, certificates, and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards, conducting reviews and assessments to identify gaps.
• Support the creation and maintenance of compliance risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Communicate regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of required actions.
• Follow up on compliance findings, action plans, and regulatory commitments to ensure closure.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports and dashboards for management and relevant committees.
• Assist in maintaining company licenses, permits, certifications, and regulatory submissions.
• Escalate significant breaches and high‑risk issues to senior management.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and other assurance functions to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance oversight.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, Audit, or related disciplines (preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related area.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of compliance management, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of risk management principles and internal control systems.
• Proficiency in report preparation, documentation management, and Microsoft Office applications.
