Compliance Officer

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking a Compliance Officer in Riyadh to safeguard the integrity of its refining and bullion operations. The role focuses on anti‑money laundering monitoring, supply‑chain due diligence and ensuring compliance with Saudi and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer and supplier due‑diligence files, verify KYC documentation and beneficial‑ownership information.
• Screen transactions against sanctions lists and high‑risk jurisdictions using approved compliance tools.
• Execute scheduled compliance tests on vault access logs, weight certificates and assay records, documenting findings and driving corrective actions.
• Support internal and external auditors by providing documents and explaining compliance processes.
• Update SOPs to reflect regulatory changes and deliver training on anti‑bribery, conflict of interest and whistleblowing policies.
• Log and investigate reported compliance breaches or suspicious activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in compliance, internal audit or risk management within banking, mining or precious‑metals sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi AML/CTF regulations and international precious‑metals standards.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
