Compliance Supervisor

About the role

United Pharmaceuticals Company is seeking a Compliance Supervisor to lead the development and implementation of its Group compliance framework across retail pharmacy, distribution and corporate functions. The role will work closely with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, HR, IT and Operations to embed compliance into business decisions and provide independent reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the Compliance function, operating model, policies, procedures and an annual compliance plan.
• Maintain a register of applicable laws, regulations, licences and compliance obligations and conduct risk assessments across the business.
• Monitor compliance with Saudi healthcare, pharmaceutical, commercial, labour, data protection and competition regulations.
• Develop and manage policies on conflicts of interest, gifts, anti‑bribery, data protection and third‑party conduct.
• Implement whistleblowing framework, incident reporting, investigations and remediation processes.
• Deliver compliance awareness and training programmes and prepare periodic independent compliance reports for senior management and the Board.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Governance, Risk or related field; professional certification in Compliance or related area preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience establishing or managing a compliance function, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical retail or a regulated sector.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements and corporate governance practices.
• High professional integrity, sound judgement and ability to escalate material compliance concerns.
