Compliance Supervisor – Retail Pharmacy & Distribution

About the role

The Compliance Supervisor will own the development and implementation of the Group’s compliance framework, ensuring regulatory requirements, internal policies and governance standards are defined, monitored and managed. Working closely with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, HR, IT and Operations, the role strengthens compliance awareness, mitigates regulatory risks and provides independent reporting to senior management and governance bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the compliance function, operating model, policies, procedures and annual compliance plan.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive register of applicable laws, regulations, licences and compliance obligations.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments across retail pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, corporate functions, technology and third‑party relationships.
• Monitor compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements covering healthcare, pharmaceuticals, commercial, labour, data protection and competition.
• Implement and manage the Group’s whistleblowing framework and incident reporting processes.
• Prepare and submit periodic independent compliance reports to senior management and the relevant Board committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, finance, accounting, governance, risk or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience establishing, developing or managing a compliance function, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical retail or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements and corporate governance practices.
• Proven ability to develop policies, conduct risk assessments, investigate matters and prepare executive‑level reports.
• High professional integrity, sound judgement and confidence in escalating material compliance concerns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
