Compute Manager

About the role

The Compute Manager leads the management and optimisation of the organisation's compute infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security and performance across server, virtualisation and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise compute infrastructure, including physical, virtual and cloud platforms.
• Ensure high availability and performance of compute services.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations and capacity‑planning initiatives.
• Oversee system monitoring, backup and disaster‑recovery activities.
• Handle infrastructure incidents, change management and problem resolution.
• Maintain compliance with security, governance and operational standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and technology partners.
• Drive modernisation and automation of the compute environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with proven leadership responsibilities.
