Computer User Support Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a technology‑focused professional to provide remote computer user support. The specialist will assist users in resolving hardware, software and system issues, ensuring productivity while working from a home‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical assistance to users experiencing computer problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and operating system issues.
• Assist with account access, application usage and general technical queries.
• Document support tickets, actions taken and resolutions accurately.
• Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Install, configure and maintain software applications on user devices.
• Provide guidance on basic technology usage and best practices.
• Monitor ticket queues, follow up on open issues and contribute to process improvements.

• Good understanding of computer systems and common software applications.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
