Contract Administrator

About the role

The Contract Administrator will oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of construction and civil‑engineering projects in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that contracts are administered correctly, claims are managed efficiently, and project obligations are met in line with FIDIC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts, monitor compliance, and support change management.
• Prepare, review, evaluate and negotiate all types of contractual claims (EOT, prolongation, disruption, acceleration, variation, loss & expense, additional cost, delay).
• Submit contractual notices on time according to FIDIC requirements.
• Assess entitlement, causation and quantum of claims.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, procurement and site teams to gather supporting documentation.
• Assist in dispute‑resolution processes and ensure adherence to project contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the Saudi Arabian construction market.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions (Red, Yellow, Silver Books).
• Strong understanding of Saudi construction laws, regulations and industry practices.
• Proven expertise in claims management, dispute resolution and contract negotiations.
• Ability to analyse contractual entitlement and assess project impacts.
• Solid knowledge of project planning and delay‑analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in contract correspondence, notices and commercial reporting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and contract‑management systems.
