Contract & Commercial Manager

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Contract & Commercial Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role manages the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, ensures compliance with policies and regulations, supports strategic business objectives through contract negotiation and risk management, and works across departments to protect the organization's interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor agreements and procurement contracts
• Analyze contract terms to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Maintain a centralized contract management system and keep accurate records of all agreements
• Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement and operational teams
• Monitor contract performance, milestones, renewal dates and obligations
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including onboarding, performance evaluation and renewal negotiations
• Prepare contract summaries, reports and recommendations for senior management
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations and international best practice, and help resolve disputes and manage amendments
• Keep up to date with changes in commercial law and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Proven 20 years of experience in contract management, commercial law or procurement
• Strong knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation and risk analysis
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships and working in cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
• Preferred: SAP or ERP systems, international contract negotiation, familiarity with Saudi commercial and labor laws, risk management and project management methodologies
