Contract Manager

About the role

The Contract Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of construction contracts, from pre‑contract negotiations through project close‑out. This role ensures contractual compliance, manages risks, and supports project teams in delivering large‑scale construction projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and administer main contracts, sub‑contracts, purchase agreements and amendments.
• Monitor contractual performance, milestones, payment terms, variations and deliverables.
• Manage claims, extensions of time, delays, disruptions and dispute resolution.
• Prepare contractual notices, correspondence, claims and commercial submissions.
• Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
• Maintain accurate contract registers, variation logs and claims registers.
• Support project teams in resolving contractual issues and participate in commercial meetings.
• Ensure proper contract close‑out, including final accounts, settlement of claims and warranties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Law or a related field.
• 10+ years of contracts/commercial experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Proven experience with mega‑construction, infrastructure, mixed‑use, hospitality, high‑rise or industrial developments.
• Background working for a main contractor, developer, EPC contractor or major construction organization.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, claims, variations, extensions of time and dispute resolution.
