Contract & Warranty Officer

About the role

The Contract & Warranty Officer is responsible for managing aircraft and component warranty claims, analysing maintenance data, and driving cost‑recovery initiatives with OEMs and vendors. The role works closely with technical, procurement and engineering teams to ensure warranty compliance and minimise financial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Track warranty terms and conditions for purchased equipment, aircraft components and services.
• Coordinate with technical, procurement and maintenance teams to document and submit warranty claims.
• Follow up on claims to ensure timely resolution with suppliers or manufacturers.
• Analyse contract clauses related to liability, service levels, penalties and warranties.
• Monitor active contracts daily to verify service delivery against agreed terms.
• Register and update warranty information in the company’s tracking system.
• Prepare and submit warranty claims with all required documentation.
• Produce periodic reports on contract status, renewals and warranty activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation contract and warranty management or related warranty work.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance records.
• Proficiency in AMOS for claim identification and data extraction.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Power BI for dashboards and performance reporting.
• Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.
• Ability to work with reliability data.
