Control Engineer – Project Control Role in Riyadh

About the role

Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Control Engineer to join its Riyadh team. The role involves designing, implementing and maintaining control systems that ensure efficient and safe operation of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Perform system integration and testing to verify functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to optimise system performance.
• Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
• Deliver training sessions on control system operation for team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in control engineering, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
