Cost Control Engineer – Saudi National (Dammam)

About the role

The organization is seeking a Saudi Cost Control Engineer to strengthen cost visibility, budgeting, forecasting and financial control across its diverse projects and operations in Dammam.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor actual expenditure and commitments against approved budgets.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cost plans.
• Track project and operational costs, identifying variances, trends and potential overruns.
• Perform detailed cost and variance analysis.
• Prepare regular cost‑control reports and management information.
• Maintain accurate cost data within relevant systems and reporting tools.
• Collaborate closely with PMO, Finance and operational stakeholders.
• Support improvements to cost‑control processes, reporting and governance.

Required profile

• Saudi National.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in Cost Control, Cost Engineering, Project Cost Management or a closely related area.
• Hands‑on experience in budgeting, cost tracking and variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of cost‑control systems, tools and reporting methodologies.
• Analytical capability to interpret cost data and identify performance issues.
• Experience within a PMO or multi‑project environment is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as CCP, PMP are preferred but not essential.
