Cost Control Specialist – Dammam, Saudi Arabia

About the role

TalentHive is partnering with a well‑established Saudi group to strengthen its PMO and Cost Control function. The company is hiring both a Cost Control Specialist and a Senior Cost Control Specialist to support a diverse portfolio that includes heavy equipment, transportation, facilities, catering and other services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor actual costs and commitments against approved budgets.
• Prepare and regularly update cost forecasts, ETC and EAC analyses.
• Analyse direct, indirect and operational cost drivers and identify variances.
• Investigate root causes of cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce cost reports, dashboards and management analysis to provide visibility on current and future expenditure.
• Validate cost information, ensure reporting accuracy and support improvements to cost‑control processes across multiple business units.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Hands‑on experience in Cost Control, Cost Engineering, Project Controls or a closely related area.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Based in or willing to work in Dammam.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP or financial cost‑control systems.
