Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will champion and implement property‑wide financial strategies, ensuring products and services meet the expectations of both customers and employees. This role provides the financial expertise needed to support brand initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to support strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Forecast sales against expenses, develop annual budget plans, and monitor actual performance versus projections.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business initiatives.
• Analyze wage budget variances to enhance budget efficiency.
• Lead accounting teams, communicate goals clearly, and hold staff accountable for performance.
• Prepare timely financial reports, ensure accurate profit‑and‑loss documentation, and address audit findings.
• Monitor tax obligations, ensure compliance with local and standard operating procedures, and oversee internal, external, and regulatory audits.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• No prior work experience required.
