Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will ensure financial data is accurately recorded, classified, and reported in accordance with company policies. This role supports the finance team by maintaining precise electronic spreadsheets, preparing period‑end reports, and handling billing documentation for the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organise, secure, and maintain files, records, cash and cash equivalents following established procedures.
• Record, store, access, and analyse computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code, and summarise numerical data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in finance or accounting.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
