Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring hotel costs, controlling Food & Beverage expenses, analysing variances and ensuring effective cost management in line with EWAA Hotels' policies and financial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control Food & Beverage costs and overall operational expenses.
• Review purchasing, receiving, issuing and inventory processes.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock balances.
• Analyse cost variances and prepare periodic cost reports.
• Monitor food and beverage consumption and wastage.
• Ensure proper costing of menus, recipes and products.
• Coordinate with Finance, F&B, Kitchen, Purchasing and Stores departments.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cost control, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in hotel accounting systems and inventory management.
• Hotel experience is required.
