Country Head, Saudi Arabia

About the role

CAIA Association is seeking a dynamic Saudi national to lead its strategic expansion in Saudi Arabia. As Country Head, you will build the organisation’s local presence from the ground up, driving membership growth, institutional partnerships, and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and operationalise CAIA’s Saudi legal entity, coordinating with legal, compliance and headquarters teams.
• Serve as the senior in‑country representative, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and building the local team.
• Act as primary liaison with the Financial Academy to develop joint programmes and ensure seamless coordination.
• Develop strategic relationships with regulators (CMA, SAMA, PIF) and participate in industry forums.
• Partner with leading Saudi universities to integrate CAIA into finance curricula and organise on‑campus events.
• Forge alliances with industry associations, professional bodies, and the LP/GP ecosystem, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
• Design and lead sponsorship programmes, exclusive forums, roundtables, and research initiatives focused on Saudi alternative investments.

Required profile

• Saudi national with extensive experience in building and leading professional organisations or business units.
• Proven track record in establishing legal entities, governance structures, and operational infrastructure.
• Strong network within Saudi regulatory bodies, academic institutions, and the alternative‑investment community.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive growth from scratch.
