Country Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Reporting to the MENAT Director, we are seeking an experienced and driven Country Manager to lead our expansion in Saudi Arabia. This pivotal leadership position requires you to define and implement our country strategy, cultivate crucial partnerships, guarantee operational excellence, and manage a top‑tier team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to create and implement the Saudi Arabia strategy, aligning it with global goals.
• Build and manage the operational infrastructure, continuously optimizing payment processes to boost efficiency and conversion rates.
• Identify, cultivate, and negotiate strategic relationships with SAMA, banks, acquirers, payment processors, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with expansion, product, technology, and legal teams to align roadmaps and ensure seamless integration of partnerships.
• Use data and market insights to analyze performance, pinpoint improvement areas, and drive operational excellence.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure strict adherence to local laws and regulations.
• Represent the brand by building a strong professional network and actively participating in industry events.

Required profile

• Must be based in Riyadh and fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong background in Saudi payments or financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of Saudi market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and an extensive network within the payment ecosystem.
• Strategic vision with a track record of taking calculated risks that lead to significant growth.
• Proven leadership experience leading cross‑functional projects and fostering high‑performance teams.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure and optimize commercial agreements.
• Exceptional communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and work across global teams and time zones.
• Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
• Positive, inquisitive attitude; technical proficiency is a plus.
