Credit Control Team Leader – Riyadh (Saudi Nationals Only)

About the role

The Credit Control Team Leader will head the credit control function for the Abu Dhabi branch, overseeing customer relationships, collections and accounts receivable while ensuring compliance with financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire credit control operation for the Abu Dhabi branch, managing customer relationships and decision‑making on credit matters.
• Supervise and develop a collector into an assistant credit control specialist.
• Maintain accurate customer records, ensure timely collections, and support the Credit Control Manager in meeting collection targets set by the Financial Controller.
• Oversee accounts receivable, overdue management, cash flow KPIs and drive efficiency improvements year over year.
• Act as the primary contact for the branch manager and account managers, structuring new deals, resolving conflicts and collecting overdue payments.
• Handle customer communications regarding statements, reminders, dunning letters and coordinate invoice distribution and payment collection.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in high‑volume account collections within Abu Dhabi or similar environment.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities with a high sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work accurately with large data sets and financial figures.
• Professional appearance and effective communication at all organisational levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems for data entry, reconciliation and reporting.
