Crowd Management Coordinator

About the role

The Venue Fan Operations Specialist supports the delivery of fan and spectator operations within an assigned venue. The role coordinates operational readiness, workforce deployment, crowd management, spectator services, accessibility, and last‑mile operations to ensure a safe, accessible, and well‑organised spectator environment throughout all phases of an event.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of fan operations and venue services during football and other sports events.
• Coordinate fan entry, movement, wayfinding, queues and crowd flow across designated venue areas.
• Work with venue teams, security, stewards, transport and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor venue readiness and ensure fan‑facing facilities are operational before and during events.
• Maintain accurate operational records, incident logs and shift handover information.
• Respond to fan queries, monitor crowd behaviour and escalate risks according to event procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sports Management, Event Management, Operations Management, Public Safety or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in venue operations, crowd management, spectator services or event operations.
• Experience working on large‑scale sporting, entertainment or major international events is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to coordinate operational teams, workforce deployment and crowd‑management activities.
