Customer Applications Procurements Assistant Manager

About the role

The role holder leads and manages all procurement activities for Customer Applications Procurements, ensuring service delivery is cost‑effective and aligned with the company’s strategy and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end procurement for Customer Applications projects, from RFP development to supplier selection and contract signing.
• Provide sourcing strategy inputs and execute them under the supervision of the director.
• Review and classify purchasing requests by risk and financial value, assigning them to purchasing analysts.
• Manage SLAs for tendered and non‑tendered change orders and monitor spend categories.
• Track supply market trends, competitive pressures, and emerging products to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop segmentation criteria and map the supplier base to desired relationship types.
• Maintain and regularly update the supplier catalogue.
• Identify and implement procurement synergies across subsidiaries.
• Prepare business cases, monitor demand/consumption trends, and support business planning with the Technology Procurement Head.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, and contract management.
• Proven ability to lead procurement projects and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and financial risks.
• Experience working in a technology or telecommunications environment is preferred.
