Customer Service Officer

About the role

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for handling internal and external customer requests efficiently, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. The role involves processing orders, coordinating with sales, delivery, and store teams, and managing complaints and returns.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and process customer queries and requests via phone.
• Support sales team members by handling order placements and queries over the phone.
• Process inter‑office orders through the email system.
• Coordinate with sales and accounts receivable before order processing.
• Generate invoices based on price and exception lists and follow up on order status.
• Work with the delivery team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Handle customer complaints through appropriate channels.
• Process returned goods according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with the store keeper to prepare orders efficiently and follow delivery schedules.
• Manage special orders, maintain records, and track their progress.
• Prepare daily activity reports for the supervisor and periodic sales reports for the CS Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience outside the organization.
• Patient, energetic, pragmatic, and friendly personality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
