Cyber Security Architect – 12-Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect for a 12‑month onsite contract in Riyadh. The role will shape and strengthen enterprise security architecture across cloud, hybrid and on‑premise environments, ensuring security is embedded in all technology and business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture standards, frameworks and roadmaps.
• Design secure architectures across cloud, hybrid and on‑premise environments.
• Review and approve security designs for new technologies, projects and business initiatives.
• Define security requirements and control objectives during solution design phases.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and threat‑modelling exercises.
• Design network segmentation, micro‑segmentation and secure connectivity architectures.
• Provide guidance on firewalls, WAF, VPN, proxy and remote‑access solutions.
• Establish infrastructure hardening standards and secure baseline requirements.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of information security experience, with 3‑5+ years in security or enterprise architecture roles.
• Strong networking and infrastructure security expertise, preferably within large enterprises.
• Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Banking experience is required, preferably in Saudi Arabia or GCC banking sector.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, TOGAF, SABSA Foundation or Practitioner.
