About the role

The Cyber Security Monitoring Operation Senior Specialist works with minimal supervision to protect the Authority’s systems and networks. The role focuses on monitoring security events, analyzing threat intelligence, and turning insights into actionable mitigation measures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, conducting initial assessments of suspicious activity.
• Investigate, classify, and recommend preventive actions for security incidents.
• Analyze threat intelligence and assess IT assets for risks and vulnerabilities.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of incidents and suggest improvements to controls.
• Develop, validate, and optimize security use cases based on best practices and emerging threats.
• Expand log source coverage and support integration of new data sources.
• Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Support escalation of complex incidents and mentor less‑experienced staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in information security or cybersecurity.
