Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager to lead our threat monitoring, incident response and security assurance programmes. The role will shape the organisation’s ability to detect, analyse and remediate emerging cyber threats while driving proactive hunting and continuous improvement of our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee threat monitoring and detection, ensuring timely identification and analysis of emerging threats.
• Lead incident response teams to contain, eradicate and recover from cyber incidents.
• Manage threat intelligence feeds, close information gaps and enhance reporting on threat actors.
• Drive proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence and behaviour analytics.
• Continuously improve detection and response capabilities based on evolving attack vectors.
• Direct digital forensics investigations to support incident response and recovery.
• Lead security assurance activities, including VAPT, Red Teaming and configuration reviews across all assets.
• Communicate security findings and business impact to management and IT teams to enable timely remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on defense and assurance.
• Strong expertise in security monitoring and detection engineering.
• Proven incident‑response leadership and crisis‑management capability.
• Risk‑based analytical and decision‑making skills.
