Cybersecurity Engineer – Renewable Power

About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer – Renewable Power supports Air Products’ NEOM Green Hydrogen Project by ensuring the cybersecurity compliance, resilience, and safe operation of large‑scale renewable energy assets. Based in Duba, Tabuk Region, the role works on an 8‑weeks‑on/2‑weeks‑off rotation and acts as the technical bridge between project execution, commissioning teams, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field verification and validation of cybersecurity design for solar PV, wind turbines, BESS, HV/MV substations and grid interfaces.
• Assure compliance with Saudi and international cybersecurity standards for power generation and transmission assets.
• Develop and maintain OT cybersecurity asset registers, network diagrams, zone‑conduit models and risk registers.
• Lead cyber risk assessments for power packages and OEM skid systems, tracking mitigation actions with vendors.
• Validate firewall rules, secure remote access, endpoint hardening, role‑based access control, logging and monitoring prior to system energisation.
• Coordinate with engineering, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and client operations teams for cyber‑security field verifications.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in large‑scale construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and handover phases of renewable power projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi cybersecurity regulations and international standards.
• Proven ability to work on‑site in rotation schedules and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
