Cybersecurity Manager – Airport Operations

About the role

The Cybersecurity Manager will lead and oversee the airport’s cybersecurity framework, ensuring that information systems, networks, data and technology assets are protected against threats. The role works closely with senior management, IT teams and external partners to embed security into business continuity, disaster recovery and new technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, governance and risk management framework.
• Monitor and address cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, incidents and compliance requirements.
• Implement and maintain security policies, standards and controls aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Oversee security assessments, audits and remediation activities to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Evaluate and support secure adoption of new technologies, systems and third‑party services.
• Promote security awareness through training and engagement initiatives.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Security Management, Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation security, cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO and GACA aviation security regulations.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, incident management and compliance.
• Understanding of network security, cybersecurity controls and security architecture principles.
• Familiarity with business continuity, disaster recovery and data protection best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
