Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Operations Engineer will support daily cybersecurity operations, vulnerability remediation, security hardening and compliance activities. Working closely with IT and infrastructure teams, the role ensures a secure technology environment and addresses security risks promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support cybersecurity operations and security controls.
• Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across IT systems.
• Perform security hardening for servers, network devices, and infrastructure.
• Assist with security assessments, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Investigate and resolve security‑related incidents.
• Coordinate security requirements with infrastructure, network and IT teams.
• Maintain security documentation, reports and remediation records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a similar role.
• CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification preferred; CISSP or vendor certifications are a plus.
