Cybersecurity Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and coordinate cybersecurity initiatives across clients, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders. The role involves managing projects from initiation through delivery while ensuring clear communication with senior management and executive committees.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close cybersecurity projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate between clients, cybersecurity teams, IT functions, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project artefacts such as plans, risk and issue registers, action trackers, decision logs, and change requests.
• Prepare executive dashboards and committee reports covering status, milestones, budgets, KPIs, KRIs, risks, and vendor performance.
• Present updates and required decisions to executive management and governance or steering committees.
• Support regulatory and board reporting for cybersecurity activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing cybersecurity or IT security projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical security teams and manage vendors or consultants.
• Experience preparing and presenting reports to executive management and steering committees.
• Familiarity with NCA ECC, SAMA CSF or similar cybersecurity frameworks is strongly preferred.
