Cybersecurity Specialist I

About the role

The Specialist I, Cybersecurity for Joint Ventures & Subsidiaries will protect and strengthen the IT infrastructure of Al Ayuni’s subsidiaries and joint‑venture projects. The role focuses on implementing group‑wide security standards, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and operational support of cybersecurity controls such as firewalls, EDR, IAM, MFA, email security, and SIEM across subsidiaries, joint ventures and project sites.
• Perform security hardening of servers, endpoints, operating systems, network devices, cloud platforms and business applications in line with corporate standards.
• Assess the cybersecurity posture of each entity, conduct vulnerability assessments, health checks and technical compliance reviews, and coordinate remediation activities.
• Support incident response by investigating security events, performing root‑cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Applications and Digital teams to embed security requirements into technology designs and deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on experience in implementing and managing security solutions within complex, multi‑site environments.

• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Email security and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure security configurations.
• Cloud platform security (public and hybrid environments).
• Vulnerability assessment and security hardening techniques.
• Incident response, root‑cause analysis and remediation planning.
