Cybersecurity Specialist – Saudi National

About the role

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Specialist (Saudi National) to lead and manage cybersecurity operations for project information systems and business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity operations including account administration, eDiscovery, incident response, policy compliance, and security technology implementation.
• Act as primary technical liaison with vendors and suppliers to develop solutions and advise project management.
• Develop, maintain, and audit technical and analytical aspects of cybersecurity systems and controls.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of workstations, servers, applications, and networks through account management, system hardening, and software updates.
• Support security technologies, apply best practices and cryptographic principles, and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance, training, and incident recovery assistance to end users and project teams.
• Lead investigations of cybersecurity incidents and drive improvement initiatives.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee implementation of security controls.
• Represent cybersecurity on project teams, technical reviews, and internal committees.
• Monitor risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to work with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security administration.
• Network technologies such as MPLS, VPN, and wireless networking.
• IT security principles including firewalls, access control, authentication, and digital signatures.
• Domain structures, identity management, and user authentication systems.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800‑53 and related cybersecurity frameworks.
• Evaluation of security controls and development of remediation plans.
