Cybersecurity Specialist (Saudi National)

About the role

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cybersecurity Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team. The role involves managing cybersecurity operations for project information systems and business applications, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cybersecurity operations including account administration, eDiscovery, incident response, policy compliance, and security technology implementation.
• Act as primary technical point of contact with vendors to develop solutions and advise project management.
• Develop, maintain, and audit technical and analytical aspects of cybersecurity systems and controls.
• Support secure operation of security technologies and apply best practices and cryptographic principles.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide cybersecurity support, guidance, training, and incident recovery assistance to end users and project teams.
• Lead investigations related to cybersecurity incidents and contribute to improvement initiatives.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee implementation of security controls.
• Serve as cybersecurity representative on project teams, technical reviews, and internal committees.
• Monitor cybersecurity risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT infrastructure, or related technology environments.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security administration.
• Knowledge of network technologies such as MPLS, VPN, and wireless networking.
• Understanding of IT security principles including firewall technologies, access control, authentication, and digital signatures.
• Familiarity with domain structures, identity management, and user authentication systems.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and related cybersecurity frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
