Data and AI Architect

About the role

The Data and AI Architect defines and governs the organization's enterprise data architecture while extending it to support Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and MLOps capabilities. The role ensures that enterprise data assets are trusted, governed, secure and optimized so that advanced analytics, scalable AI solutions and data-driven decisions can be made across the organization. The workplace is on-site.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field (required); a Master's in a related discipline is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data architecture, data governance and information management.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and integrating AI and machine learning into enterprise architectures.
• Experience establishing enterprise data standards, governance frameworks and technology roadmaps.

Required skills

• Designing enterprise data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses and cloud-native data architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML platforms, MLOps frameworks and enterprise AI architectures.
• Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Enterprise integration technologies, APIs, event-driven architectures and distributed data platforms.
• Data governance, metadata management, master data management and data quality frameworks.
• Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and architecture governance practices.
• Preferred certifications: TOGAF, Azure/AWS/Google cloud architect certifications, CDMP, Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS ML Specialty.
