Data Center Technician – On-site (Buraydah, Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Join our team as a Data Center Technician in Buraydah, Saudi Arabia. This on‑site freelance position supports critical infrastructure at world‑class data centre facilities, handling hardware, cabling and environmental systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured copper and fiber optic cabling (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2).
• Execute hardware deployments and de‑commissions, including rack‑and‑stack operations.
• Monitor power, cooling and security systems and respond to incidents.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on upgrades.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of data‑center operations experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work in demanding environments.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, Dell, HPE, Cisco, CCNA, JNCIA).

• Hardware deployments and de‑commissions.
• DCIM platform usage.
• Structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Rack and stack operations.
• Capacity planning and upgrades.
• Server and network equipment installation and configuration.
• Environmental systems monitoring (power, cooling, security).
• Power distribution and UPS systems.
• ITIL practices.
• Documentation and asset tracking.
