Data Management & Governance Implementation Expert

About the role

We are looking for a senior Data Management & Governance Implementation Expert to design and deliver enterprise‑wide data management and governance solutions for clients in Saudi Arabia. The role combines deep knowledge of regulatory requirements with hands‑on experience across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data management and governance projects, from assessment through design, configuration, testing, deployment and handover.
• Assess existing data landscapes, processes and governance practices and translate gaps into implementation roadmaps.
• Design vendor‑neutral enterprise data architectures covering ingestion, integration, lakehouse, data warehouse, processing, orchestration and analytics.
• Configure and integrate data catalogs, business glossaries, metadata repositories, data lineage, workflow and policy enforcement tools.
• Implement data quality frameworks including profiling, critical data element identification, validation rules, scorecards and remediation tracking.
• Support master data management and reference data solutions, ensuring alignment with NDMO and NDI compliance.
• Provide guidance to improve client maturity and regulatory compliance in data governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience (≈60 months) in data management, governance and analytics implementations.
• Proven ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical designs and operational processes.
• Experience working with Saudi Arabian data regulations, National Data Management Office (NDMO) and National Data Index (NDI) frameworks.
• Strong communication skills to interact with client stakeholders and technical teams.
