Data Quality Business Analyst

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a Data Quality Business Analyst to join its growing team in Al Khobar. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy and reliability of data across business systems, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define data quality standards, develop metrics and strengthen data management. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate guidelines, processes and parameters for business analysis so that data collection and analytics follow a consistent approach.
• Coordinate with technology departments to understand business requirements for business analytics.
• Work with internal departments to identify the most suitable data resources for collection and analysis.
• Help identify external vendors or market research agencies and set their data collection and reporting needs.
• Keep up with technology developments through external consultants and forums.
• Clean and standardise data, and develop weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports on procurement and logistics updates.
• Share insights on business intelligence tools, databases and systems with the Master Data Quality Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognised university.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst or in a related field.
• Preferred: Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE).
• Preferred: experience in IT, data solutions, networking or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of data management, data governance and data quality best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Data profiling and analysis tools such as SQL, Python or ETL tools.
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI are a plus.
• Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory compliance standards is a plus.
