Database Administrator (MongoDB)

About the role
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator specialized in MongoDB to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our data platforms. You will work in a fast‑paced environment handling mission‑critical workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and optimise MongoDB clusters for high performance and availability.
- Develop efficient scripts and queries while maintaining system stability.
- Troubleshoot database issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement fixes.
- Implement and verify backup, recovery, and security procedures.
- Design and maintain replication, sharding and high‑availability configurations.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience administering MongoDB in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of query optimisation and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python or Shell.
- Understanding of replication, sharding and HA setups.
- Experience working with mission‑critical systems.
